Beginnings
The concept of "Art from Parts" evolved from my love of the absurd and my practical nature. Creating objects of art from recycled materials, this idea began from my participation in the Industrial Carnival, spring of 2005. Being involved in this show from its conception to its actual debut exposed me to new and fresh ways to examine available materials and to develop new meanings from using these materials in different and unexpected ways.
Expanding on this concept by collecting found and recycled items that others no longer valued then attaching these items to platters, this began my collection for my gallery: art from parts. Finding new ways to utilize my puzzling abilities my playful nature sometimes produce profound themes by surprise in some of these mini installations.
From my studies of art and exposure from surrealism to Duchamp to current trends have influenced my sculptures. As well as experiencing the modern works throughout Paris, June 2005.
